Title: CNC Production/ Setup Machinist
Position Summary:
This position is a middle to high level technical position with experience as a CNC Machine Production/Setup Operator. This individual will have knowledge of the controls and programming associated with complex CNC machine tool operation. This knowledge will allow them to perform their responsibilities and achieve team goals and objectives.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years experience operating complex CNC machinery. Experience with precision dicing or CNC grinding equipment is a plus.
Education/Skills:
- High School minimum
- Job specific training
- Must be familiar with CNC controls
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow Manufacturing instructions
- Must have a "can do attitude"
- Must work well with minimal supervision
- Perform work tasks to process standards
- Insure proper tooling is used to perform processes, including perishables
- Maintain product work flow
- Identify training requirements
- Execute work to standard cycle times
- Identify nonconforming materials
- Execute per product schedules
- Insure quality and participate in process improvement
- Participate in cost reduction programs
- Train new employees
