Heart Valve Fitting

Application:  Heart valves help regulate and time blood flow into and out of the heart. Some patients with degenerative or other heart issues have artificial valves implanted into their hearts.  New designs are evolving all the time, especially as new materials like pyrolytic carbon become more readily available. This valve was manufactured as a part of a research and development project.

Features:  The outer diameters of the pyrolytic carbon heart valve fittings are ground to within +/-10um.
